Valor is always looking for enthusiastic young athletes that are ready to grow in their love and knowledge of the game! The Summer season begins in mid May. There scheduled tryouts at the locations and times below. Registration is required for a tryout. Be sure to click the “Register” button below and register your player for the appropriate time and location.

What to Bring:

🏀 Basketball
👕 Reversible jersey with a # (if you have one)

Tryout results will be announced no later than May 1st.

VALOR GIRLS (FRISCO)

GRADES 3RD- 8TH GRADE

Dates: April 27 & April 30
Location: Vandeventer Middle School
3rd–5th Grade: 6:00–7:00 PM
6th–8th Grade: 7:00–8:00 PM
9th–10th Grade: 8:00–9:00 PM
Requirement: All players must register in advance to participate

VALOR BOYS (FRISCO)

GRADES 3RD- 10TH GRADE

Dates: April 27 & April 30
Location: Vandeventer Middle School

SUMMER 2026 FAQ

When does the season start?

The season begins the first week of June which is when all teams will officially start practices. Season will run for 8 weeks and will end early August.

How much does it cost to play on a team?

A deposit is due at registration, followed by two monthly payments of $215 on June 15 and July 15. This includes weekly team practices, one additional weekly skills training session, and league games or tournaments. If you choose to opt out of the weekly skills training, the monthly cost is $160.

*This pricing is for teams that practice weekly, if the team practices more than once a week fees may differ.*

What grade should I use for registration?

Please use the grade your child will be enrolled for the 2025-2026 school year.

Summer 2026 Season Details

📅 Season Dates:

First week of June – Early August

✅ If Your Child Makes a Team:

Weekly 90-minute practices & additional 60-minute skills sessions begin mid May.
- Practices & skills held at for brand new facility in Frisco, TX (FM-423 & 380)
- Skills sessions focus on individual development (shooting, ball handling, footwork, etc.)

🏀 League Play:
Teams will compete in either the Frisco Fieldhouse League or the Gameday Basketball League

Season starts in June
Games played on weekdays

Gameday Basketball League

Games played on Saturday or Sunday
All games held in Frisco

🏆 Tournament Teams:

Coaches will select 3–4 tournaments for each team
Tournaments scheduled throughout the season
Coaches will share details once confirmed
