SPRING 2026 F.A.Q.
When does the season start?
The season begins the first week of March, which is when all teams will officially start practices. Season will run for 8 weeks and will end early May.ย
How much does it cost to play on a team?
The monthly cost is $215 and includes weekly team practices, plus an additional weekly skills training session, and league games or tournaments. If you prefer to opt out of the weekly skills training, the cost is $160 per month.
*This pricing is for teams that practice weekly, if the team practices more than once a week fees may differ.*
Uniforms are an additional $136 and will be shipped directly to your home. Players will have the opportunity to choose their jersey number during the ordering process.
What grade should I use for registration?
Please use the grade your child will be enrolled for the 2025-2026 school year.
What to bring to tryouts?
- Water bottle
- Basketball
- Reversible jersey (if you have one)
What is covered during the tryout?
Tryouts will cover fundamental basketball skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting. Weโll also evaluate basketball IQ through game-like situations and scrimmages. In addition to skill level, coaches will be observing each athleteโs attitude, effort, and how they respond to coaching and teamwork.
How will I know if my son/daughter made the team?
You will receive an email notification no later than Feb 14th. All communication will be sent through TeamSnap, so please make sure you have access to the app and check your spam or junk folders in case the email gets filtered.
What if I can no longer attend the tryout?
If youโre unable to attend your scheduled tryout, please email us at valor@cwm-sports.com to arrange an alternate date. If no alternative dates are available, a refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

โ If Your Child Makes a Team:
- Weekly 90-minute practices & additional 60-minute skills sessions begin the first week of September
- Practices & skills held at Frisco ISD Middle Schools (Vandeventer or Nelson)
- Skills sessions focus on individual development (shooting, ball handling, footwork, etc.)
๐ League Play:
Teams will compete in either the Frisco Fieldhouse League or the Metro Prep Basketball League
Frisco Fieldhouse League
- Season starts March 6ย
- Games played on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
Metro Prep Basketball League
- Game days:TBA
- Teams play 2 games on each Saturday
- All games held in Frisco

- Coaches will select 3โ4 tournaments for each team
- Tournaments scheduled throughout the season
